DepositProof Privacy Policy

DepositProof: Rental Vault is operated by Zac Batten. This policy covers launch-version rental records, media, addresses, landlord details, and preferences.

Rental evidence may include private images and addresses. DepositProof stores it locally unless you choose backup or sharing features.

Overview

DepositProof is a local-first app for rental condition records. The launch version needs no account and does not automatically upload evidence.

Information You Add

DepositProof may store information you choose to enter or capture, including:

• Property names, addresses, unit numbers, lease dates, deposit notes, and landlord contact details.
• Room names, checklist progress, inspection stages, captions, issue tags, severity labels, and notes.
• Photos, videos, thumbnails, file metadata, recorded timestamps, and export history.
• Display name and local app preferences.

Local Storage

Launch records and media stay on your device. DepositProof uses local storage, app-owned files, and SecureStore for selected settings.

Sharing And Export

DepositProof does not share records automatically. Reports, messages, and exports happen only when you choose. Review exports before sharing.

Permissions

Camera/media access is requested only for capture or import. Microphone access may be requested for video. Location is not requested.

Analytics, Ads, Purchases, And Tracking

The launch version includes no ad, tracking, analytics, crash-reporting, cloud-backup, login, or in-app purchase SDKs.

Data Deletion

Delete evidence, properties, or all local app data from Settings. Manage exported files where you saved or sent them.

Cloud Backup

Cloud backup is not enabled. If added later, this policy and in-app disclosures will be updated first.

Children

DepositProof is not for children. Rental records can contain private household information and should be managed by an adult or authorized renter.
